Sylvan Sampler, 46" x 50", commercial cottons. Machine and fusible appliqué, machine pieced, machine quilted. This quilt is the block-of-the-month that I designed in 2006 for Heritage Quilts and Fabrics, a wonderful quilt shop in Newnan, Georgia. It is an expression of my love for trees of every kind and includes a selection of tree species as well as a variety of stitching and fiber techniques to represent the trunks and foliage.
